We love working with those ingenious minds at Fisher Productions, and after the success of last year’s macabre “Twisted Circus” venue party, we were more than ready to jump on board with this year’s theme…..in this case quite literally.
Our hard working venues deserved a mini-break and so were sent a Boarding Pass invitation to check in with Fisher Airlines,
for a spot of first class in-flight service from Zafferano.
Our immaculate cabin crew greeted guests, pointing out the emergency exits and serving chilled fizz and little packets of Zafferano home-roasted nuts from the in-flight trolley. They even handed around hot towels!
Canapes such as Black Truffle & Roquefort Croque Monsieur and Soft Poached Salmon Torchon, Herbed Yoghurt, with Caviar were circulated from bespoke cloud trays whilst Foie Gras and Cherry Cigarello with Malt Ash served from cigar boxes flagrantly flouted the smoking ban, and harked back to the golden era of air travel.
In the Departure Lounge bar,
Zafferano mixologists served Clean Air – Gin, Lime, Basil and The Pan Am – Havana Blanco, Aperol, Orgeat Syrup, Lemon Juice, Egg White.
At the baggage carousel small plates such as Pea Pannacotta, Creme Fraiche, Pea, Mustard Salad and Smoked Duck Club Sandwich, Hazelnut Butter, Pineapple Jam were served from coloured mini suitcases.
For business class passengers an all day breakfast of Truffled Chicken Sausage, Quails Egg, Pancetta, Fresh Truffle and Fried Brioche prepared them for their journey, to ……Mexico!
Midway through the evening guests moved downstairs where
they were transported to a Mexican Fiesta.
Cabin crew let down their hair (literally), donned tropical print dresses and directed guests to the colourful dessert station – to feast on Tequila Marshmallows, Chocolate, Lime and Meringue Tacos and Vanilla Mango Cheesecake Taquitos.
Our tattooed, moustached mixologists served Mexico – Mezcal, Triple Sec, Lime, Amaretto and Pomegranate Margaritas.
