A colourful late Summer party
with an Asian fusion menu, and flamboyant
flowers and design.
Staff wore elegant black Nehru jackets
The Menu
- Indian spiced nuts and salted cashew nuts tossed with seaweed served in black-eared bowls
Served cold
- Seared tuna diamonds with spicy avocado
- Lobster cocktail with a vodka spiked Marie Rose creme fraiche in a cucumber cup with sweet paprika
Served hot
- Curried potato, cashew and pea samosa with a minted yoghurt raita
- Roasted vine tomato and shallot tarte tatin
- Filo tartlets with sag paneer, fenugreek and spinach
- Coconut dredged shrimp with chilli, coriander and lime dipping sauce
- Mini poppadoms with butter garlic chicken with mango, garnished with fresh mint
- Tiny, exquisite meringues with rose scented cream
- Glazed fondant chocolate tartlets with crystallised violets
