Zafferano Hired By Pub Landlord

Following the success of their Harry Hill event last year, Granada Entertainment invited Zafferano to cater the pre-and post-show parties for An Audience with Al Murray at LWT on 6 February.

While the 'Pub Landlord' dished up his incomparable philosophy to a 300-strong celebrity audience that included Gordon Ramsay, Zafferano created a slap up menu of sophisticated pub favourites.

Waiting staff in authentic maroon waistcoats, white shirts and black ties served bar food such as prawn cocktail, chicken in a basket, creamy fish pie and jacket potatoes. The Pub Landlord's catchphrase 'a pint for the fella and a glass of white wine for the lady' was taken literally and translated into a drinks menu of a 'nice glass of chardonnay', draught bitters, Carling and Guinness.

Granada Producer, Nick Symons, said of Zafferano's contribution: 'The whole thing was as smooth as silk, and our celebs were in fantastic shape when they got to the studio. I hope you enjoy the result, and are proud of a job truly well done.'
