Zafferano's Seaside Special for Harry Hill

End of the pier fun came to the LWT studios on Sunday 19th September with Zafferano's party for An Audience with Harry Hill. After fielding questions from a celebrity audience about his award-winning stand up and TV career, the self-styled Prince of Daft hosted a lavish after show party.

With just two weeks to get their show on the road, the Zafferano team worked flat out to bring the event to life by obtaining Harry Hill rock, producing individual tubs of 'Harry Hill' ice cream, creating customised newspaper wrapping for fish suppers and conjuring up a stunning Smartie-studded celebration cake.

Chris Tarrant and Frank Skinner were amongst the celebrity guests who tucked into an authentic seaside menu on the night. As well as frying up 90kg of fish, chips and mushy peas, Zafferano refreshed the 250-strong studio audience with pale ale, shandy, home made lemonade and ginger beer.

'Events of this sort can very easily become formulaic,' comments Vivienne Gonley, director of Zafferano. 'However, the originality of the theme and our attention to detail in carrying out the brief helped make the Harry Hill party a truly memorable occasion.'
