Seated 20 - 400

The British Museum was founded in 1753 and was the first national public museum in the world. It is now home to the widest-ranging collection of objects from all over the globe.

The Great Court at the heart of the Museum is the largest covered public square in Europe and can accommodate up to 1,400 for a reception under the magnificent domed glass ceiling.

Other spaces include the oldest gallery in the Museum, the Kings Library, named after the royal collection of King George III for which it was designed to house, ideal for holding elegant dinners for up to 200 guests.

The Egyptian Sculpture Gallery on the opposite side of the Museum provides an imposing venue for a drinks reception around the iconic centre piece of the Rosetta stone.
