London is one of the most vibrant cities in the world and the Museum of London tells its story. Located in the heart of the City, just a few minutes walk from St Paul's,  Museum of London is due to relaunch the Galleries of Modern London on 28 May following a £20.5m re-development.

The museum will offer a variety of exciting and brand new entertaining spaces to include:

Sackler Hall
Here you can entertain your guests underneath a permanent, ceiling mounted, 48 meter LED oval shaped curtain, complete with a bank of nine plasma screens.  The installation can be used to meet your specific event requirements either by display logos, films or simply create a stunning lighting effect. 

City Gallery, Victorian Pleasure Gardens and Entrance Gallery can all be used in conjunction with the Sackler Hall or as stand alone spaces for smaller events.

City Gallery is home to the iconic Lord Mayor’s State Coach and can be used in addition to the Sackler Hall or simply as a stand alone event space. 

Victorian Pleasure Gardens is a dramatic indoor re-creation, complete with authentic trees, which provides a circus feel enhanced by acrobats and entertainers. 

Entrance Hall is a contemporary, minimalist newly refurbished space is the ideal setting for reception drinks prior to dinner in the Sackler Hall, or as a stand alone space.

Other Galleries The Museum’s other galleries, which depict London from 400,000 BC through to the present day, are all available for your guests to enjoy private viewings of as part of your event.  (Documenting London Before London, Roman & Medieval times, The Great Fire of 1666 and Expanding City, People’s City and World City documenting 1666 - 2012)

Weston Theatre is a purpose built lecture theatre with the capacity for 220 people. Complete with a raised stage, tiered seating, lectern and drop down screen, an audio visual control room providing access to state-of-the-art projection equipment
